• Tech-Net Scientific e-Publishing Services is established in September 2002, by Murali Krishnan, the
founder-Managing Director, with 2 employees.
• Institute for Operation Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), USA, first client to Tech-Net
with Journals
2003
• American Scientific Publishers (ASP, USA) join Tech-Net client group with its encyclopedia.
• A new production office is established in Hyderabad.
• Around 15 employees start working for Tech-Net.
2004
• Tech-Net starts XML-based production for INFORMS.
• INFORMS, USA, started a special projects like the digitization of their archives for its 50 years journals
with Tech-Net
• Tech-Net started Quark production for journals/books for USA clients
• American Scientific Publishers entrusted us with all its 10 journals, and with heavy volumes of books (STM)
and encyclopedia.
2005
• The number of employees exceeds 25.
• The project management division started for journals and books.
• Encyclopedia of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology is one of the many projects that we delivered to ASP, consisting of about 10,000 pages (first Encyclopedia in the field of Nanotechnology), was awarded the year 2005’s “Best Reference Work Award” by the American Society for Engineering Education.
2006
• Tech-Net extended with couple of new clients from USA.
2007
• The number of employees approaches 50.
• Tech-Net became Associate Member at The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP), UK.
• Certified by STPI (Software Technology Park of India), Chennai, India. |
